  • 🎃 Join Us for a Spooktacular Celebration! 🎃 Get ready for the Second Annual Trick or Treat Hallway Edition, hosted by Student Government and Link Crew! This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs and academic groups to showcase their creativity and community spirit while providing a fun, family-friendly experience for kids and families in our school.  Check out the attachment for ways your club or group can get involved!
  • Please join us for Big Sky High School’s theatre production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” written by Joseph Kesselring.

Play

    • “Arsenic and Old Lace” is a dark comedy that follows the eccentric Brewster family, where two sweet elderly aunts have a peculiar hobby — murdering lonely old men with poisoned wine.  Their nephew, Mortimer, stumbles upon their secret and chaos ensues as he tries to manage his quirky relatives, including a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt.  With a mix of dark humor and farcical twists, this classic play offers a hilarious take on murder and madness.
    • Performances will be Friday and Saturday November 1st and 2nd at 7 pm, and Sunday November 3rd at 2 pm.  Doors will open a half hour before the show!  Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door.  We look forward to seeing you there!
  • SENIOR PARENTS & STUDENTS: Reminder that senior photos need to be submitted via email to bigskyseniors@gmail.com by December 15th or it will not be in the yearbook!

Yearbook purchase

  • The Social Studies Department is excited to announce our first ever mock election on November 5th. Since it is a major election year, we have decided to create a school wide opportunity for all of our students to participate in the voting process.
    •  According to the National Social Studies Council a quality social studies program should include experiences that provide for the study of how people create, interact with, and change structures of power, authority, and governance. This mock election would provide students with hands-on experience with how our government functions. It  gives us an opportunity to incorporate Montana state social standards of applying civic virtues and democratic principles when working with others.
    • Our election will focus on the four large elections for our area including the presidential, governor, senate, and house of representatives district one for MT.
    • If you opted to vote absentee, please stay tuned to receive your ballot in the upcoming Advisory on 10/24.

Have a great week Big Sky, please be in touch if you need anything!
