My name is Becky Krantz, and I joined the Big Sky Library in September of 2016. I have an honors degree in English Literature and Teaching with a Business Administration minor from Montana State University. I earned my library teaching endorsement while teaching high school English in Helena and Drummond. In 2010, I moved to Missoula, and have worked at Sentinel High School, Washington, Meadow Hill, and Porter Middle School. I earned my National Board Certification for Library Media Early Childhood to Young Adult in December of 2017.

I serve on the District Technology Committee and love reading all types of books, so come visit and tell me about your techie visions, your interests, and what you're reading. Each school year, I try to read at least 100 books, so I love recommendations and book clubs!  You can view my progress on Goodreads.

Hope to see you in the library!

I am a full-time teacher librarian at Big Sky--teachers, please get in touch with the librarians to let us know ways we can help support your curriculum or if there are skills we can assist your students with.  We are here to promote reading and give research and information literacy skills instruction.  We love collaboration!
