Welcome to Science!!
Hello! My name is Megan Woods, you may have seen me introduced as "Mrs. Wilson" because I will be getting married in September (yay!) and changing my last name. For now, students can call me Ms. Woods! I was born and raised in Washington State and moved to Montana in 2020. This June we made the move to Missoula and have since fallen in love with the area. I am so excited to work for such an amazing school in such a great community!
My number one goal as an educator is to create a safe, accepting environment where all students can come to explore, learn, and grow together. Mistakes are not only accepted in my classroom, they are expected. Only when we put ourselves out there and risk being wrong can we open our minds to all the incredible knowledge out there! My promise is that students will never be judged, ridiculed, or put down when working in my classroom. We are all here to learn, myself included, and that requires a space where everyone can feel free to be themselves and try their best!
Together we can make this a year to remember. I look forward to meeting all of you!!
