The Biomedical Health Science Department at Big Sky High School teaches the anchor courses for the Health Science Academy. The department teaches four courses based on the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum. These courses include Principles in Biomedical Science (PBS), Human Body Systems (HBS), Medical Interventions (MI), and Biomedical Innovations (BI). In addition, the Biomedical Science department manages job shadows, career preparation activities, and certification programs.
