Hello,

     My name is Hannah Houser. I am a first year teacher here at Big Sky High School. However, I was a long-term substitute during the 2021-2022 school year and a student teacher. This year I am the integrated science 2 and biomedical innovations teacher. I have a four-year undergraduate degree in biology with a pre-med concentration. I also have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction.

     Your children might notice that I have an accent. This is because I am originally from North Carolina, and my husband and I moved to Missoula in 2017. We have come to love Montana and we are currently the proud owners of 20 acres in Stevensville that we would like to build on.  

      My husband, our puppy Maple, and myself spend lots of time hiking in the wilderness of Montana. Therefore, please never hesitate to ask about any good trails, or share some of your favorite hikes with me!

      I am so very excited about getting to know all of my students, and if you ever need anything please do not hesitate to reach out. My email is hyoung@mcpsmt.org. I am a traveling teacher and do not have a set classroom, but if you need me during the day, I get to school at 8:00 am and my desk is in the B core close to room 62. I will also be at my desk during my first period prep. I am also normally close by my desk during lunch and advisory. For second and third periods I am in Ms. Rubys room (66). Then, for fifth period, I am in Mr. Ellenbeckers room. For the sixth and seventh periods, I am in Mr. Honzels room. Lastly, my duty period is fourth and I am in the commons.
