I was born and raised in Missoula, MT. I attended Franklin Elementary, CS Porter Middle School and Big Sky High School. When I graduated, I traveled down to Phoenix, Arizona and got my Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering. After working as an Engineer, I decided it wasn't the right job for me. I loved coaching and teaching, so I decided to go back to school and become a teacher. I earned my Masters Degree in Teaching from Whitworth College and taught in the state of Washington for a few years before I finally was able to move back to Montana and become a teacher at the school I grew up with and love. In the past, I was one of the math teachers in the 9th grade Health Science Academy. Currently, I teach IB Math A&I (Applications and Interpretations), and Algebra Readiness. I really enjoy everything that I do at Big Sky but I love teaching math and want to pass on that love and excitement to my students.
