  • Welcome to the School Year 2020-2021!

Posted by Abby Green on 8/24/2020

School is starting.  Don't forget to check your schedule!  Things will be a little strange and different this year but it's going to be great to see you in person again.  Wear your mask over your nose and mouth, wash your hands and make sure to social distance for a safe and healthy school year.

Don't forget to sign in to your Google Classroom for IB A&I (formerly Math Studies) as your work will be on Google Classroom. We will cover that information in class on the first day along with so much more.

I can't wait to see you all!

I was born and raised in Missoula, MT.  I attended Franklin Elementary, CS Porter Middle School and Big Sky High School.  When I graduated, I traveled down to Phoenix, Arizona and got my Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering.  After working as an Engineer, I decided it wasn't the right job for me.  I loved coaching and teaching so I decided to go back to school and become a teacher.  I earned my Masters Degree in Teaching from Whitworth College and taught in the state of Washington for a few years before I finally was able to move back to Montana and become a teacher at the school I grew up with and love. In the past, I've been one of the math teachers in the 9th grade Health Science Academy.  Currently I teach IB Math Studies (both levels), I'm one of the co-department chairs for the math department and I work on Senior Projects.  I really enjoy everything that I do at Big Sky but I really love teaching math and want to pass on that love and excitement to my students.
