Hello and welcome to my page. This is my first year teaching at BSHS and I am very excited to be a part of the Big Sky team! Below you will find a bit about me, my schedule, and Google Classroom links to my courses. I look forward to working with you in the coming year, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello - I always enjoy visiting with my students and their families.
About me
The 2021/22 school year will be my second year teaching. Last year I taught high school science in Florence and before that I completed my student teaching here at Big Sky in Mr. Ellenbecker’s classroom. I’m so glad to be back and really looking forward to the year ahead! I’ve always loved science and before teaching I worked in neuroscience research at UM, exploring the molecular mechanisms of learning and memory. I grew up in Red Lodge MT and have lived mostly between Red Lodge and Missoula. I am married with two kids and in my free time I like to bake, read, float the river, ski, and spend time with family & friends.
