    Hello!

All of your students should be connected to the classes they have with me through Google Classroom.  Please have them login to Google Classroom and make sure they can access everything and if not reach out via e-mail!  They can also check their school gmail for information I have sent out!

    Thank you for your flexibility.

Ms. Briner

Hello!

My name is Melissa Briner and I will be teaching 7th Grade Math, Health and PE.  I am thrilled to spend my second year as a teacher here at CS Porter.  I recently completed my K-8 Certification as well as a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction at The University of Montana.  Prior to this I earned a B.A. in Theatre from St. Michael's College in Burlington, Vermont.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and found my way to Missoula in 2008 when I began touring with Missoula Children's Theatre.  To this day I am an active part of the MCT family and you may even spot me on stage every now and then!

During this school year I look forward to growing along with the 7th grade students.  My aim is to have a fun, creative and collaborative classroom environment where the students feel safe, respected, loved and confident enough to take chances.

Please feel free to reach out to me via e-mail or phone with any questions or concerns regarding your student! I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
