Welcome to Big Sky High School Journalism and Media Arts. 

I have been a teacher in the Missoula County Public School District since 1998. I received my undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Secondary Education: English and Language Arts with certifications in English, Drama, Speech and Journalism and a minor in Spanish.

I hold a master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University and a master's degree in English from the University of Montana. 

Currently, I am teaching the following courses: 

TV 2: Eagle TV This course is responsible for the school video broadcast program, a bi-weekly news magazine program for the school audience. You can find us at BSHS Eagle TV to catch up on any missed episodes. Please check out our student website here: https://bigskysunjournal.com/.

AV2:Yearbook. Yearbooks will be finished by April 2023 and should be delivered by the end of May. I am also the Business Department Chair, co-adviser of Business Professionals of America, and a mom of three teenage girls. I have been married for 25 years, and also a mom dog to Cooper, a 150 pound Anatolian Shepherd.
