Dear Big Sky Students & Families- What a week! I’m sure your child shared with you we had lots of subs in the building so thank you to our students for doing the best they could with all of the staff out. There’s lots of things however to celebrate, our Girl’s Volleyball teams showing at the State Tournament, our Special Olympics Basketball team, but this week’s shout out also goes to the cast & crew of the Caberet Show! What an amazing event, it’s a show to look forward to every year! Winter Sports Meeting is this Thursday! 11/17 @ 6pm in the Big Sky Theater. A few things to note: The season begins on Monday 11/28 ALL paperwork including a physical must be turned in on or before the first day of practice or you cannot participate. Fees are also due by the 1st day of practice, please contact the Activities Secretary if you are unable to make the meeting Booster Tables-this year each sport-Girls Basketball, Boys Basektball, Swimming and Wrestling will have a booster table. Stop by the table to get information about fundraising, getting reminders for the season and most importantly signing up for Booster Club! Each new member will be entered into a drawing to win a piece of gear from Booster Club (must sign up at the Winter Sports meeting) and drawings will be held for new members of each sport so 4 winners in total! Schedule Feedback-we are seeking feedback from parents & guardians (students your survey will come soon!). Please take a moment and provide feedback on the current bell schedule (start and end time) and the 7 period day. These survey results will be analyzed by Big Sky staff-https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeAKI_Ah0dxqoVjPan2jabWPKP8hygFqFwFrExAzExR5vK60w/viewform?usp=sf_link Meet the Big Sky Nursing Staff! She is at Big Sky from 8:45-4:15 Monday-Friday Please note that occasionally we have sub nurses so be patient! ***Please note that if you enter the nurses office you are expected to have your phone put away this is a private confidential area that may have other students experiencing health concerns and it’s important that we maintain privacy. ***Also note the nurse office is closed daily from 12-1pm to support students outside the nurse office. Don’t forget the week of Thanksgiving we only have school on Monday & Tuesday so I will pause the weekly updates for that short week and will be back with a message on 11/27.
