Dear Big Sky Students & Families-

A huge shoutout to our FFA Food Science Team for taking 1st in the National Food Science competition.  This marks the first time Missoula has ever one a National FFA competition! Congratulations to Shaun Billingsley, Gus Turner, alumni Claire Standley, and future Eagle Joel Standley! Also congratulations to Kara Conley and Faith Berow who placed 5th in the Nation with their Agriscience project! We are so proud of you!

Here are a few additional updates for this week:

  • Winter Sports Meeting-Thursday 11/17 at 6pm in the Big Sky Theater.  It’s important to attend even if you participated in the Fall meeting.  It’s a great opportunity to join Booster, learn about fundraising for your sport, meet your coach and pay your fees.
  • Do you have a Senior Study Hall? Do you need to stay on campus during that period? If so, our Biomedical Innovations team is working on a solution.  Please fill out this Google Form for a solution-Senior Study Hall Option
  • Halloween dress up-while we don’t necessarily encourage dressing up, if you chose to do so, please remember school dress code rules still apply, no face coverings or fake weapons will be tolerated or allowed.

Last call to sign up for our 3rd Annual Spaghetti Meal Kits-this is one of our most successful Family Engagement events so we hope to keep that going this year! These are full meal kits (no matter the size of your family we will match the size) along with all the materials to make the “surprise” dessert.  The dessert always comes with a fun video made by the staff. Don’t wait, sign up to get yours here:

Have a great week Big Sky! Please reach out if you have any questions. GO EAGLES!
