English 9 & 12
After 14 years working in central and building administration (including the last 6 years as an Assistant Principal at Big Sky), I am returning to the classroom. I am excited to get back to working directly with students on developing their skills as readers, writers, and thinkers.
Before coming to Big Sky High School, I was the Assistant Principal at Meadow Hill Middle School for two years. Prior to coming to Meadow Hill, I worked in central administration for six years as a Teacher on Special Assignment, Instructional Technology Coordinator, and the Directory of Creativity, Innovation and Technology.
Before moving into central administration, I was an English teacher at the Willard Alternative High School Program for six years.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Cloud State University and am licensed to teach English and biology. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University and my Educational Leadership endorsement from the University of Montana.
In my spare time, I like to hike and mountain bike in the summer and fence in the winter, which I have done competitively for over twenty years.
