Math Lab

Math Lab is offered on Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch in Room 36 (Mr. Parke's room). Math Lab is staffed by a Big Sky High School math teacher. Students can come to Math Lab to work on assignments, get additional teaching, retake assessments, study for assessments, or prep for the ACT/SAT. Students do not need to sign up for Math Lab, just grab your lunch and head to room 36!

Zero Period

Every morning from 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM there is zero period at Big Sky High School. During this time, students are welcome to visit their math teachers in their classroom to get additional support. This is the BEST time for students to see their teachers one on one outside of the normal class period. If students are absent, zero period is a great time to check in with a teacher to see what was missed. PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR TEACHER PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT SCHOOL FOR ZERO PERIOD.

Most Big Sky Math teachers also allow retake assessments. These are to be done during a student's own time. Zero period or Math Lab is a great time for a student to retake an assessment. Students can also arrange with their teacher to take assessments that they missed during Zero Period.
