Head Coach
Trevor Subith (tsubith@mcpsmt.org)
This will be Coach Subith's 3rd year at the helm of Big Sky Softball. In the short time Subith has been around, he has transformed the softball program into a contender once again. This is evident with the number of girls wanting to be part of the program. His dedication to the girls, school and facility is something that has been noticed since day one. Coach Subith came to Big Sky with an extensive background in the baseball world. He was the head coach of Hemet High school in southern California for 16 years and took a mediocre program and turned it into one of the best in southern California. This culminated by winning a CIF southern section title in 2015 before moving to Missoula. He was also the Bitterroot Bucs legion coach for 2 years and again turned the program into a state title contender. Finally, before taking over Big Sky, he worked with the AA Missoula Mavericks legion baseball program. Subith prepped at Hemet High school and went on to play college baseball at Sacramento City College and Tennessee Wesleyan. His connections with baseball and softball college coaches is something that really benefits all players in his program and others, as he is in constant contact with them about his players. "My goal is to make sure each and every student athlete has the ability to move on to the college level and play softball if that is something they want to do". Coach Subith and his wife Lauren have 5 children.
