Hello, namaste, ciao, bonjour, hola, kia ora, salve, aloha, and many many other ways of saying hello my friends!  I am about to start my twelfth year at Hellgate!  Wow, time flies.  Prior to teaching at Hellgate, I taught for five years in the Bitterroot at Corvallis High School.  

I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. in a small beach town community.  After graduating from Crossroads School, I attended The Colorado College where I earned a B.A. in English.  After a few years traveling the country playing semi-professional soccer, I returned to graduate school at the University of Montana where I earned my M.A. in English- Literature.  I then took a position working at Sentinel as a para-educator with students with high needs as I worked towards my teaching certificate and M.A. in Education through Montana State University.  I feel very fortunate to be in a profession that I love.

My husband and I have two wonderful children (13, 11) who keep us on our toes and grounded at the same time.    We also have two dogs that bring us joy, kisses, and sometimes a dead mouse.
