I attended Missoula schools beginning in fourth grade and graduated from high school in the late 1970's, before attending Eastern Montana College. There I earned my bachelor's degree in education, with an endorsement in special education. My teaching career began in Chinook, Montana, where I taught for two years in that small town and part time in a one schoolhouse for another year. I also coached the drill team in Chinook for three years.
My teaching career at Hellgate began in the spring of 1988. This current school year I teach General Math and Consumer Math.
I have been married for 35 years and have three grown sons. I am proud grandma of my three adorable grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter. I enjoy reading, Sudoku, growing flowers, and following my children and grandchildren in their sports endeavors. In addition to school and family, I am active in my church, and love living in Western Montana.
