Starting with the 2018-19 school year, the menu of finance courses and finance related student experiences will be referred to as the Finance Pathway.  This more accurately reflects the focused student experience available to students at Hellgate High School.

These are the resources and markers of the Finance Pathway student experience, which will be available to students at Hellgate High School:

• All finance classes currently offered will continue to be available
• Student internships
• Mock interviews
• Resume writing support
• Job shadows
• Student recognition for participation in the Finance Pathway
• Camaraderie and connection with Finance Pathway teachers and peers
• Support from the Finance Pathway Advisory Board for the program at Hellgate

Current sophomore, junior and senior students who have committed to the Finance Academy as it was previously branded, will continue to wear an academy stole at graduation and receive the notation "FA" on their transcripts through the 2020-21 school year.

The only other change will begin with the class of 2022 (freshman entering Hellgate in the 2018-19 school year), these students will no longer wear an academy stole at graduation.
