Hello! My name is Wendy Galvin and I teach resource in green and red pods at Lowell Elementary School. I grew up in Havre, Montana and have moved around quite a bit. I moved back to Missoula in February of 2020 from Bend, Oregon, where I lived and taught for 11 years. I have been working in special education for 21 years and started right here in Missoula as a paraprofessional at Hellgate Elementary. Before moving back to Missoula, I taught middle school resource, specializing in math intervention for struggling learners. I have a 3rd grader at Lowell and will have a kindergartener next year. I live in the neighborhood so you may see me and my kids around! In my free time I enjoy seeing live music, reading, making beaded jewelry, traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and both downhill and cross country skiing.
