Greetings! I am excited to be here at Hellgate High School working with some of the most amazing students Missoula has to offer. I started at Hellgate in Fall 2014 after working as both a school psychologist (Meadow Hill Middle School, Lewis and Clark Elementary) and the district’s MBI/PBIS (Montana Behavioral Initiative/Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support) consultant for four years.

Many students and families don't know about school psychologists and often don't realize that we are a resource to all students. Being able to work with students and families from all facets of life is a large part of what makes my job so incredible. Some of my roles include: evaluating students for special education, developing behavior support plans, meeting individually with students, and working behind the scenes to develop student support systems in our building.

I earned my BS in Developmental Psychology from Westminster College (2004), then decided to attend graduate school at the University of Montana where I earned my Master’s degree (2009) and Doctorate degree (2014) in School Psychology. I am originally from Tooele, Utah and have called Missoula home since 2005. I spend my free time enjoying all that Montana has to offer with my husband Nick and our dog Brynlee, along with friends and family from around the country.
