Hello and welcome. My name is Kim Woodbrige, and I am proud to be a Hellgate Knight! I am originally from Coeur d'Alene, ID and earned my Bachelors' Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho. I am certified to teach both Social Studies and English and bring over 15 years of classroom experience. This will be my second year at Hellgate High School, and my first as part of the Social Studies team.
I have a true passion for working with students. Helping them understand our world and consider their role within it is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a challenging but supportive environment.
Personally, I have been married for 19 glorious years and have two fantastic children who attend Hellgate High School and Washington Middle School. We love to watch our kids' sports—soccer, cross country, basketball, and track. I also enjoy tea, podcasts, dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
