I was born in Polson, attended the University of Montana, then joined the Marine Corps.  I flew helicopters off both coasts and Hawaii, until finally figuring out that I like teaching. I returned to the University of Montana.  In 2004 I received teaching certificates in Social Science Comprehensive (U.S. History, World History, Government, Psychology, Economics, and Geography) and Fine Arts K-12.  I taught history in Stevensville until 2007.  I feel lucky to be here!
