Welcome to the Family Resource Center (FRC) at Big Sky High School. My name is Danielle, Family Resource Coordinator, and this is my first year at Big Sky. It is my goal to create a safe, warm, welcoming environment and support our students and families in being successful and happy.
The FRC is located in Room 21 of Big Sky High School. Our mission is to connect students, families, school and community. The FRC is a safe place where students and families can visit to receive support in the school in community.
Support may include food, school supplies or basic daily supplies (toothpaste, feminine products, deoderant, etc..) We also offer assistance/referrals to communityprograms such as housing, child care, financial assistance, parenting classes, utilities, public programs/benefits (SNAP, Medicaid, HMK MT, employment).
We also collaborate with various school groups and individuals to raise funds for our Big Sky families in need. Currently, we have a pantry with food, toiletries, and school supplies.
Students and families are encouraged to stop in for services or any questions you might have.
The FRC is open M-F, 11-3. I can also schedule an appointment as need be. You can feel free to reach me at 728-2400 ext. 8051 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
It is my pleasure to work with you!
