  • Welcome Back from Spring Break and Learning from Home

Posted by Lisa Keyes on 3/23/2020

What an unusual spring break this year! How lucky we are to live in beautiful, spacious Montana!  Although there are concerns in our world that affect all of us, I hope everyone is staying healthy, being vigilant about washing hands regularly, and was able to relax a bit while having time off from school.

Although we are not back at school this week, I'm thinking about all of you and hope that I can get the word out about audible.com making manyof their audiobooks available for FREE to students while schools are closed. This is very exciting news!  The links are here on our library site and you can access the books on a computer, tablet, or phone.  Choose something you like, and listen while taking a walk, helping out with the dishes, or maybe just while relaxing on the couch or before bed! The Benefits of Listening to Audiobooks are many!

Junior Library Guild Digital also has free books available to students online so click on that link on our library site as well if you're looking for something different than what you have at home.  There are BOTH audiobooks and digital reading books to browse.

I'm currently in the mood for classics so have recently started rereading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.  You may have seen the movie that came out a couple of months ago. Did you? What did you think? Have you read the book?  Would you like to?  Feel free to email me and tell me what books you like and recommend! If you need book recommendations, I'm happy to give you some. My email address is  lkeyes@mcpsmt.org

    Happy Reading!

    Mrs. Keyes
