Hello! I'm Allie McFarland and I teach 8th grade English Language Arts and Health/PE. I taught at Porter from 2006-2019, then took a couple of years off to be a stay-at-home mom. I returned in 2021-2022, and am now in my 18th year of teaching.

My husband Dylan and I grew up in Kalispell, and both attended the University of Montana from 1999-2003 - Go Griz! I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction. Missoula is now home to us and our three children, 11-year-old twins Addy & Will, and 6-year-old Ben. As a family, we stay busy with all the sports, camping, swimming, biking, skiing, reading, and playing with our two cats, Sushi & Snowflake!
