Hello!

My name is Tanya Johnson.  I'm super excited to be teaching 8th-grade history.   Before CS Porter, I taught 5th grade at Lowell Elementary.  I have also taught middle school geography in Helena, Gallatin Gateway, and in Missoula at Washington Middle School.  I started college at Montana Tech, getting a business degree.  However, business wasn't my thing, so I continued my education so that I could teach. 

I grew up in Helena and I love everything about Montana (well, except for the winters).  I have an awesome husband, a smart and determined little girl named Magdalena, and the sweetest dog in the world named Smyth.
