Hello!

 

I am in my 35th year of being a ParaEducator in Special Education for Missoula County Public Schools. I have worked in grades K through 8, starting at Mount Jumbo Elementary, and currently working at CS Porter Middle School in the Structured Learning Program (SLP).

I love teaching and collaborating with fellow staff members as part of the Missoula education community.

I am also the President of the Merged Missoula Classified Employees Organization (MMCEO) - the Union representing Support Staff (Classified) employees in MCPS. Working with the Administration at all levels, and participating on numerous committees to assist and support the Classified Staff in our district is a huge part of who I am.

 

I am married to David, a US Navy Veteran, now retired.  We have one son, Danny. My family is my pride and joy! Danny, his wife Shannon and our beautiful granddaughter SweetE are the best part of our lives! We are so lucky to be able to spend time with our granddaughter throughout the summer months and after school!  I also have a four-legged family member, Toby, a mini Australian Shepherd that helps me stay active!

 

I'm looking forward to a positive year at Porter and within the MCPS education community!
