The Montana Career Information System (MCIS) provides unbiased information on more that 550 occupations, 640 programs of study, and current Montana wage, employment and outlook data. In addition, users can access pertinent data on all accredited Montana schools, and 3,500 other schools as well as over 12,000 financial aid opportunities.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. It describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.The Handbook is revised every two years.
