About Me
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, I received my BA in Mathematics Education in 2004 with a minor in History from Whitworth University. I began my teaching career at Freeman High School, a small school just south of the Spokane Valley. I moved to Missoula in 2007 and taught one year at Sentinel followed by five years at Lolo Middle School. After completing my Masters in Education in 2012 from Grand Canyon University, I returned to SHS. I am now about to embark on my 21st year of teaching, and I can't think of a better place to be. Go Spartans!
In addition to teaching, I have coached volleyball, basketball, and cheer. When not at school teaching and coaching, my love is to spend more time with my two girls, Gracie who will be a freshmen this year, and Molly, my bundle of energy who is in 7th grade, plus Harris Konrad (HK) who will be in 3rd grade this year!! We plan on heading to as many Sentinel games and activities as possible, as my husband Brian, also a teacher at SHS, loves to support the Spartans and he also coaches Mavs baseball.
