This summer, Julie Robitaille will don nine new hats as she becomes an executive regional director in Missoula County Public Schools. Robitaille will leave her post as principal of C.S. Porter Middle School to transition into one of the district's two executive regional director positions.

A Welcome Back BBQ was held the evening before school started to welcome students and families. -
8/10/15 Big Sky High freshmen apply math skills to solve crimes, build machines
Students attending the camp were identified as needing assistance with their math scores in an assessment they took earlier this year, said Matt Roscoe, a math education professor at the University of Montana who is one of the camp's organizers.
Roscoe, as well as C.S. Porter Middle School teacher Britany Eisenzimer and Big Sky math teacher Ariel Cornelius, put together the lesson plans for each day of the camp.

Jeorge Andersen, an eighth-grader at C.S. Porter Middle School, is going to receive a Most Inspiring Student Award, along with other middle and high school students, from Missoula County Public Schools. -

A recently formulated wireless plan for the district puts C.S. Porter Middle School, which already has undergone wire upgrades, as the first school on the list to receive additional access points. The school has 10 wireless access points, but the plan calls for 66. -

At 3:14 on Friday afternoon, March 14, warm McDonald’s apple and cherry pies were doled out to about 500 C.S. Porter Middle School students, honoring a long-standing tradition that started under McNulty, affectionately known as “Moose.” -

Once again the Kaplan Crew dusted themselves with flour and served as the elves for the holiday food boxes with their annual baking day, on Wednesday Dec. 18th. They made goodies for every holiday box for our families in need, over 60 boxes of cookies!
