Hello Porter Students, Friends, and Families, 

My name is Ariel Cornelius, I am the Assistant Principal for CS Porter. This is my second year at CS Porter. I have been a Big Sky teacher since January 2014 and have been a 9-12 instructional coach. I have taught a variety of classes ranging from Algebra 1 through Calculus. In addition, I have supported a variety of classes from middle school through high school, including Special Education and ELL. 

I graduated from the University of Montana with a BA in Mathematics Education and received my Administration certificate. I also have a BA in Social Science with a Concentration in Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. Before teaching at Big Sky High School, I was a teaching assistant and tutor with multiple colleges, universities, and high schools. 

I am looking forward to serving the students, staff, and families at Porter Middle School this year.
