Classroom Rules For Monsieur Whitney’s French Class
Expectations
Everyone in class:
will understand the concepts and skills presented in class.
will develop an appreciation for the use of French outside the classroom.
will work hard, persevere when content becomes difficult, and learn to be proud of the results of their efforts.
come to class prepared with a positive attitude, a willingness to participate, and enthusiasm for learning.
bring all necessary supplies (binder, homework, writing utensils, paper, etc.) for the day.Rules
1. Be prepared. No late work accepted!
2. Be positive. Choose to have a positive attitude!
3. Be productive. Quality and effort throughout the entire class period is expected.
4. Be polite. Everyone, including myself, will be respectful to others at all times.
5. Follow the policies and rules of the school.

The 10 point grading scale is as follows:
90-100 A
- 80-89 B
- 70-79 C
- 60-69 D
- Under 60 F
Percentage weight of assignments will be:
- Homework and class activities 40%
- Tests and quizzes 25%
- Participation and attendance 25%
- Cultural credit (3 hours/semester) 10%
You can expect a homework assignment almost every night (except on Fridays)!!!
