Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. It is an honor and privilege to serve the Sentinel High School community. I look forward to a productive, engaging and enjoyable school year.

The following handbook is a collection of information for families, students and staff to reference throughout the school year. We encourage everyone to take the time and read through it prior to the first day of school.

Throughout Missoula County Public Schools, the focus is student achievement regardless of circumstance or ability. This goal is best achieved through the partnership between families and schools. We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with this document to help start the school year with a shared understanding.

At Sentinel High School, we have foundational expectations that apply to everyone and they are as follows:

    Be Respectful.

    Be Responsible.

    Be Engaged.

    Be A Graduate.

These simple guidelines help ensure the best learning environment for everyone.

Student success looks different for everyone and we strive to provide a broad array of opportunities for success. Crucial to this is student attendance and participation in one or more of the extra and co-curricular activities that are offered. In addition to ensuring consistent attendance, we strongly encourage students to seek avenues to expand their social network, broaden their horizons and hopefully, discover their passions.

We are excited to invite everyone back into the school and look forward to a great school year.
