Head/ Varsity Coach: Kasey Arceniega     karceniega@mcpsmt.org

Kasey is a Visual Arts teacher at Hellgate High School. This is her fifth year as head of the Sentinel Volleyball Program. The Spartans earned a conference championship, divisional title and placed fourth at State in the 2021 season. Each season under coach Arceniega, the Spartans have earned the top three seed or better in conference and competed in the State Tournament. From 2008-2018, she was the head coach of the Corvallis Blue Devils, where she led them to seven conference championships, seven divisional titles, four Class A state trophies, including a state championship. She played volleyball collegiately at UM-Western where she earned all-conference and all-regional honors.

Maggie is a Sentinel High Grad of 2020 and is currently pursuing a public health degree at the University of Montana! In her spare time she loves hanging out with her family 

and friends and being active! She is also a coach for Zootown Volleyball. 

 

Sophomore Coach: Emma Humphreys    emma.john144@gmail.com

Emma is in her third year coaching at Sentinel. She is from Harlem, MT and graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in exercise science. Outside of coaching, she works at the Missoula YMCA and is currently in grad school at U of M!   

Freshman A Coach: Virginia Wood     volleyball329@gmail.com

Virginia is currently in her 2nd year as an assistant coach for Sentinel High School. As an assistant coach, she takes great pleasure in being able to share her passion and love for the sport of volleyball. She graduated from Helena High School and then pursued her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Arizona State University. She is currently working as a registered nurse while finishing up her Masters Degree in Nursing from The University of Cincinnati. When she is not working or coaching, she loves spending time with her golden retriever, Charley. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
