Lorilee Evans-Lynn Memorial Scholarship: The Lorilee Evans-Lynn Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship, administered through the Missoula Community Foundation, to support graduating seniors at Big Sky High School who have a passion for the creative arts and are pursuing secondary education in that field. The scholarship was established to honor Lorilee Evans-Lynn, long-time advisor of Aerie Big Sky and founder/advisor of Aerie International. Preference will be given to students who have participated in the Aerie Program and whose passion is writing/poetry. This is not a needs-based scholarship. Scholarship Amount One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to an applicant from Big Sky High School.
The applicant must meet the following criteria in order to be considered.
- Planning to be enrolled as a full-time student in any college or university located in the United States
- Graduating from Big Sky High School
- Majoring in literary arts (writing, drama, poetry), performing arts (dance, music, theater) or visual arts (film, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography)
- Preference will be given to Aerie students

Missoula Community Foundation Scholarships: The Missoula Community Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to provide assistance to students from Missoula-area high schools to attend post-secondary schools in Montana. One student from Big Sky High School will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Winners will be selected based on Community Involvement, Aptitude, Character, Academic Interest and Financial Need. Applications will be reviewed by our Board of Directors for final approval. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the post-secondary institution. Students will be required to submit proof of registration.
The Hayden Messerman Memorial Scholarship: The family of Hayden Messerman has established the Hayden Messerman Memorial Scholarship in his memory. Hayden Messerman was a musician, science lover and an MCPS graduate. Each year a $500 award will be given to a graduating senior from a MCPS High School.
Eligibility: Students must be planning to attend an accredited technical school, college or university. See your counselor for the application.
Criteria used for judging:

Must have participated in science classes and/or music programs.

Must have been accepted to a school described in the “Eligibility” section and plan on attending in the fall of the current year. The scholarship award will go directly to the school the student plans on attending.
Selection of the recipient of the Hayden Messerman Memorial Scholarship will be made by the Messerman family. All applicants must write a one-page essay stating their goals and how the scholarship will help them with their course of study.
Deadline: Submit to Senior Counselor by May 1st
Counselors will forward all applications to Craig Messerman at Big Sky High School.
