During their regular public meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Missoula County Public Schools Board of Trustees voted to offer the Superintendent position to Micah Hill, subject to the successful negotiation of a contract. 

Hill interviewed with trustees for the Superintendent position and also met with MCPS administrators, students, staff and Missoula County residents on March 7. The board reviewed comments collected at these meet-and-greet sessions before voting unanimously to offer the position to Hill effective July 1, 2023.
