My name is Jay Anderson, and I teach 6th grade math, science, and PE at Washington Middle School.  This is my 9th year at Washington and my 23rd year overall teaching in Montana.   I am extremely excited to be teaching at Washington Middle School, as I was born and raised in Missoula.  This is my home, and I am glad to be here.

When I am not teaching, you will usually see me on the soccer field.  I have been coaching the Hellgate High School boys' soccer team for 23 years as well, and am also a coach for the Missoula Strikers Soccer Club.  My beautiful wife, Estella, and I have two kids who both also love soccer.  So when I am not coaching my high school team, we are usually traveling and watching them.
