This year marks my 24th year of teaching. In addition to middle school music, I also taught general music and dance in Bozeman, MT. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The University of Montana. I have completed my Level I, II, and III training in Orff-Schulwerk. I am also the director of the Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Training Courses at The University of Montana and am the Movement instructor in that course. I am currently the President of the Montana General Music Teacher's Association and present at the local, state and national levels. I am looking forward to a great year with your children.
In addition to my work as a clinician in the music world, I have also presented workshops at two national Expeditionary Learning/Outward Bound Conferences on African drumming and Native American Pow Wow's. I also coached track in Missoula County Public Schools for almost a decade. My husband, Jeremy and I live in Missoula with our two lovely children, Tyler age 12 and Madison age 9. We love to go camping, rafting, hiking, cross-country skiing, and anything else outdoors!
I am very excited to be teaching Choir at Washington Middle School!
