Hello!I'm happy to be here at Washington Middle School this year!
This is my 16th year teaching in the library at WMS. Prior to that, I was the band director here at Washington (and Lewis & Clark, Paxson & Roosevelt way back when) for 21 years. Go Red Wave:)
My husband & I raised two wonderful sons and now enjoy skiing and exploring back country roads in our free time. I also sing in the Sweet Adelines Five Valley Chorus here in Missoula, play handbells & am the director of our church choir. My favorite reading spot is in my hammock in my back yard.
I am excited about working with all of our students to navigate the library world and beyond, selecting good reading materials, choosing appropriate resources for research and exploring Media Literacy!
