Hi, My name is Aneska Elam.  I grew up in Spokane, Washington but always had family in Missoula.  I came to the U of M, graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and began teaching at MCPS in the fall of 2000.  Since that time, I have also completed a Master of Education in Technology, PLTW training in Design and Modeling, Green Architecture, Automation & Robotics, and Introduction to Computer Science. I have always enjoyed teaching middle-school-age children and all the energy they bring to a class.

 

At Washington MS, I teach 2 sections of 6th-grade Intro. to Engineering, 2 sections of 7th-grade Design and Modeling, 1 section of 8th-grade Automation and Robotics and 1 section of Green Architecture .  If you have any questions, please contact me via email.

Outside of teaching, I am married and have two wonderful sons.  As a family we spent time camping, floating/fishing, gardening, watching my boys play hockey, going to Griz games and whatever sports activities we can fit in.
