Hello! Welcome to my {Ms. Wilson's} webpage. I'm excited for this upcoming school year and cannot wait to meet you. Contact me anytime via Email or phone with questions or concerns.
A little bit about ME
I grew up in Whitefish, Montana with my parents and younger sister. I moved to Missoula to go to school at the University of Montana and got my dream job at Washington Middle School after I graduated in 2014. I have degrees in Math and Elementary Education, which means I LOVE teaching math. You will quickly learn that besides math, I also love being outside (especially hiking in Glacier or skiing in Whitefish), traveling, reading, and spending as much time with friends and family as I can. I'm currently working on my Masters Degree in Teaching Mathematics and spent part of the summer taking graduate classes. I also spent a good amount of time on the trails and the river and traveled to Belize in June! I'm looking forward to a wonderful 2018-2019 school year.
Hiking Scenic Point in Glacier with my family this summer!
  • Ms. Zilkey and Mr. Lebel

We are so lucky to have TWO teacher candidates from UM working with me this semester in my math classes. Both Ms. Zilkey and Mr. Lebel are Seondary Math Education Teacher Candidates who are going to bring a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm to 7th grade math first semester!

    About Ms. Z:

Hi guys! I can't wait to meet all of you but until then here's a little bit about me! I grew up Washington in a little town called Gig Harbor with my little sister and parents. After graduating high school, I moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana where I am currently completing my degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, which means, like Ms. Wilson, I also love to teach math! When I'm not in a classroom, you can find me hiking at Blue Mountain with my dog Bear, floating the river or snowboarding at Snowbowl. Essentially, I love any and all outdoor activities that I can do with my family and friends. See you all soon!

    About Mr. Lebel:

Hello! Fun fact: my name literally means "the handsome" in French, which happens to be around 50% of my heritage. I was born in Florida but raised as a Montanan in Saint Regis, just a few miles down West I-90. There I graduated at the top of my 7 member senior class and decided to attend the University of Montana. Over the past four years I studied mathematics and education, and took a French class or two. This last Summer was fairly eventful. I was a camp counselor at Missoula's own YMCA, adopted a kitten named Mercury, and got married! As I recover from this eventful season, I am ready to begin my career as an educator. I am excited for this lovely opportunity and ready to meet all of my students! Happy first week of school!
