A bit about ME!
I grew up in Whitefish, Montana with my parents and younger sister. I moved to Missoula to go to school at the University of Montana and got my dream job at Washington Middle School after I graduated in 2014. I have degrees in Math, Elementary Education, and last August finished my masters degree in Math Education, which means I LOVE teaching math. You will quickly learn that besides math, I also love being outside (especially hiking and skiing), traveling, reading, and spending as much time with friends and family as I can.
Last year, I took the year off of teaching and travelled to Hawaii and New Zealand! After an exciting and reinvigaroing year of travel, I'm incredibly grateful to be back at Washington Middle School.
Covid-19 is going to make this a very different school year, but I look forward to navigating these crazy times with all of you! I can't wait to meet this year's students and families. Please don't hesitate to call or email me at any time.

How to Access YOUR Grades
In 7th grade students are expected to accept responsibility for checking their own grades on the Q Student Portal. Grades will not be posted in class but will be updated regularly.
1) Go to the MCPS website to get to "Q"
There's an icon in the upper right hand corner that says "web connect". Click on that then find "Q Student Portal"
Or just click on this link: https://q.mcps.k12.mt.us/studentportal/
2) Username: YOUR ID/LUNCH NUMBER
{If you don't know this I can look it up}
3) Password: YOUR BIRTHDAY {mmddyyyy}
