My name is Stephanie Fisher and this is my sixth year at Washington Middle School. I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade Computer Science for Innovators and Makers, 7th grade Medical Detectives, 8th grade App Creators (Fall Semester) and 8th grade Business Applications (Spring Semester).
I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of rural Western North Carolina where I spent much of my time exploring the French Broad River and surrounding national forests. I completed an undergraduate Education degree at Appalachian State University in 2009 and have taught across a variety of grade levels. In May 2018, I completed a M.S. in Environmental Studies at the University of Montana with emphasis on curriculum development. In my free time, I can be found exploring Montana rivers, hiking lofty ridgelines, or cycling Missoula’s commuter trails and highways.
Washington Middle School is "Teamed for Success"!
