My name is Andrea Mooney and this is my second year at WMS! Prior to this, I had been teaching in the Bitterroot Valley for 14 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 8th grade but most of my time was spent in 7th and 8th grade HPE. I am super excited to be part of the WMS team teaching 6th grade digital art, 7th grade lifetime fitness, 8th grade competitive sports, and yearbook.

I grew up in Boise, Idaho, went to college at Arizona State, then transferred to beautiful Montana and finished my education degree at The University of Montana. I later completed my M.A. in Arts and Educational Technology at The University of Montana.

I also own a photography business, have been coaching various high school and middle school sports for most of my career, and spent time coaching CF in the valley. In my free time I am found with my daughter, Zoey, and we are typically camping, doing river things, running obstacle course races, CrossFitting, playing sports, or baking! 

I look forward to building meaningful connections with my students and their families this year and can't wait to meet you!
