Mr. Daniel Beaudin

Hello,

I am in my seventh year here at Meadow Hill. I previously taught for six years at Lowell elementary in the fifth grade for one year and then fourth grade for five years. I enjoy teaching math and social studies, stemming from the fact that I learn something new almost daily. I am excited about teaching Health and PE for my second year. I enjoy working with students at all levels to develop understandings of their current reality and to focus on growth. I work with students to help them define being "Smart" as directly proportional to how hard they try, not what they already know.

I appreciate communication and do my best to do so as well. The best way to keep track of your child's academics is to monitor their progress on Infinite Campus. As a reminder, formative grades are for learning, and do not count towards report card grades. They are necessary to make progress, but only summative grades, from things like tests, projects, performance tasks, and papers, will be counted towards letter grades. This is because these are assessments of learning. If students would like to work to make changes to summative scores, they must work with me to prove they have mastered the content before getting a chance for a retake or redo.

If you have any questions, please call or email.

Thank you

Mr. Beaudin
