Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education Minor in History with Secondary Certification Masters in Curriculum and Instruction
Mr. Daniel Beaudin
I am in my fourth year here at Meadow Hill. I previously taught for six years at Lowell elementary in the fifth grade for one year and then fourth grade for five years. I am passionate about math and science, stemming from the fact that I learn something new almost daily. I am also eager to take on one section of Social Studies this year and put my history minor to work. I enjoy working with students at all levels to develop understandings from their current reality and to focus on growth. I work with students to help them define being "Smart" as directly proportional to how hard they try, not what they already know.
I appretiate comminucation and do my best to do so as well. The best way to keep track of your child's academics is to moniter their progress on Q. As a reminder, formative grades are for learning, and do not count towards report card grades. They are necessary to make progress, but only summative grades, from things like labs, tests, and papers, will be counted towards letter grades. This is because these are assessments of learning. If students would like to work to make changes to summative scores, they must work with me to prove they have mastered the content before getting a chance for e retake or redo.
