Meadow Hill Middle School

Mr.Z(schaechner) is currently in his 8th year directing the Meadow Hill Bands and 18th year teaching overall.  I direct the Meadow Hill Jazz Band as well as co-direct the All-City Winds in Missoula.  Growing up in Missoula, I attended The University of Montana where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Trumpet Performance and Music Education.  I also received my Master's in Music Education from the University of Montana.  Recognized both locally and nationally for excellence in music education, I am excited to help your children explore instrumental music making at Meadow Hill Middle School.  My wife (Mrs. Z) is the general music teacher at Russell Elementary School and my children are currently attending Chief Charlo Elementary.
