6th, 7th, & 8th Girls and Boys
The Wrestling season runs from Tuesday, February 18th - Friday, March 27th. Meets will begin week three.
Head Coach: Jake LoveStudents must have a current Athletic Agreement/Medical Waiver and Concussion Form on file before they can participate in practices. Forms are available at the front office or on the website attached to the Activities Page.A $25 student participation fee must be paid before the student may participate in games. Fees may be turned in to the office; please make checks payable to Meadow Hill Middle School.
First 2 weeks of the season are practice
Practice: Mon – Wed 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. & Thur/Fri as requested by the coach
Thur 2:30 - 4:00 and/or Friday 3:30 - 5:00 pending coaches final schedule
During the first 2 weeks the coaches will work with students on drills, skill ability, and techniques
Wrestlers compete against other wrestlers at approximately the same weight
- Boys in 6th grade compete against other 6th grade boys; while 7th and 8th grade compete against each other
- Girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade compete against each other in approximately the same weight group
Athletes should wear tennis shoes, shorts and a t-shirt (team shirts can be purchased)
Athletes will be bused to games after school, with meets beginning at about 4:00 - 4:15 p.m.
- Athletes need to be picked up directly following the game as they will not be bused back to school
The Athletic Waiver, Participation Fee and Concussion forms must be turned into the office by the FIRST DAY of practice. The Participation fee is $25.
