Welcome, Ms. Scholle!
Posted by Robin Nygren on 10/12/2019Hello! My name is Katelyn Scholle and I am the new school counselor at here at Rattlesnake. I am excited to get to know the Rattlesnake community and the students, teachers, and families that make up this great school! I grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved to Missoula in 2012 to attend the University of Montana (Go Griz!) I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and then went back to finish my Master of Arts in School Counseling in 2018. I have worked in a variety of settings such as youth case management, foster care and adoption, and previously worked at Stevensville Public Schools as well as Clark Fork School. When I am not at school I like to spend time with my dog Rosie, hike one of our beautiful Montana mountains, or try to improve my cooking skills.I can help students and families with a variety of topics including: social-emotional problems at home and at school, friendships, academics, emotional regulation, feelings, coping skills, good news, and even a quick hello! I meet with students individually, provide classroom lessons, and run a variety of small groups based on need.If you are concerned about your kid, want to connect, or need additional support, please reach out via phone, email, or I'd be happy to set up a meeting with you! My contact info is below.(406) 728-2400 EXT 4710Thank you, and I look forward to getting to know you all -

Classroom Celebration Food Guidelines
This school year, our District is focusing on consistent approaches to student health through the foods that are served during classroom parties and school celebrations. Here are some healthy suggestions for those classes who are including food in their Halloween celebrations. Rattlesnake classes will not be serving refined sugar treats on Halloween. Please pay attention to and follow any food allergy guidelines for your student's classroom in order to keep all students safe.
