Rattlesnake School News...
- 5th Grade-December 19, 2018-Instrument Showcase Concert at 3:00 p.m. in the Rattlesnake Gym.
- Kindergarten and 1st grade-February 13, 2019-Kindness Concert.
- 5th grade-February 20, 2019-Martin Luther King Concert.
- 2nd and 3rd grade-March 19, 2019-The Day the Crayons Came Home Concert.
- 4th grade-June 5, 2019-4th grade musical.
Attendance Boundary Study
MCPS will study the attendance boundaries. It has been 13 years since the last adjusted school boundaries and we know that the makeup of many neighborhoods have changed. Please join superintendent Mark Thane and principal Pam Wright for a community meeting at Rattlesnake School on Monday, January 7, 2019. This meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the library.

Conflict can happen anywhere, especially at home, while playing with siblings, on road trips, the list goes on and on. Kelso's Choice conflict Management is a program that we teach student's at Rattlesnake. The concepts from this curriculum are helpful at home too! Important influenza information
Fall signals the start of school but can also signal the start of "flu" season. Handwashing and staying home when ill with influenza type symptoms are important preventative measures. Please visit the Student Health webpage to learn more about flu prevention and symptoms.
