Rattlesnake School News...

  • ABC Kindergarten Registration

    Monday, March 11th-April 12th.  Sign up now!  Please enroll on line at www.mcpsmt.org.  Along with on line enrollment, please print out each page and bring them to school!  We will also need your child's birth certificate, current immunizations, and 2 forms of proof of residency (mortgage statements, lease agreement and/or utility bills). Don't delay and we hope to meet you soon!

    Smarter Balanced Assessment

    Rattlesnake teachers are preparing to administer the Smarter Balanced assessment in English Language Arts and Math to all students in grades 3 through 5.  Please make sure your child attends school and arrives on time every day during the testing window.

    • Grade 3:  May 9-10 and May 15-16
    • Grade 4:  May 1-2, May 17, and May 20
    • Grade 5:  May 7-8 and May 13-14

    Winter Weather-School Cancellations

    Due to extreme weather learn more for information regarding school closures or delays.

    Music The 2nd and 3rd grades will present "The Day the Crayons Came Home Concert" on March 19, 2019 

    • 10:30-11:15 AM-Mrs. Jarvis, Mrs. Dombrowski, Mrs. Loewenwarter and Ms. Kast's class will present this fabulous event in the Rattlesnake gym.
    • 12:30-1:15 PM-Mr. Hughes, Mrs. Sayler, Mrs. Matz and Ms. Kast's class will present an incredible event in the Rattlesnake gym.

    Airplane Family Trips

    If you are planning a family trip, please fill out a Family Education Tour or Trip form and submit it to the teacher before your trip.  These forms can be obtained by the green tab to the right.

    Please fill out a Family Educational Trip/Tour form if you are planning an absence from school.  

    Guitar Hoe Down

    Please join us for an evening of family fun. This will be held Friday, March 15th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the gyms at Rattlesnake School.  Activities are free such as bingo, face painting, prize walk, dancing, photo booth, silent auction, raffle and food for sale.     Kelso's Choice 

    Conflict can happen anywhere, especially at home, while playing with siblings, on road trips, the list goes on and on.  Kelso’s Choice conflict management is a program that we teach students at Rattlesnake.  The concepts from this curriculum are helpful at home too!  You can use this information to learn more about Kelso’s Choice and how to implement it into the home.  Learn more.

  • Elementary Attendance Boundary Study

  • Quick Stop Parking
