Here are a few tips to help keep you safe in the winter.

    • Keep your hands out of your pockets while walking on snow or ice
    • Bundle up and wear layers of clothing
    • Wear mittens and a warm hat
    • Wear warm socks to help keep your feet warm & dry
    • Give yourself extra time to get to and from your destination
    • Do not step out into cross walks unless you are sure the cars/trucks have stopped
    • Use hand rails when entering and/or leaving the bus
    • Stay seated and face forward while riding the bus ENJOY THE SNOW!

    Food Rattlesnake's Semi-Annual Food Drive

    February 26th - March 2nd

From time to time, Rattlesnake families experience unexpected life events that may leave them struggling to provide enough food for their family.  In an attempt to help with their immediate basic needs, the FCC would like to have a supply of non-perishable goods ready to donate.

At this time, we are asking just the 3rd, 4th & 5th grades to participate and to donate within specific categories:

    3rd Grade:  Canned Soup

4th Grade:  Non-Perishable Protein (canned tuna/chicken, peanut butter, beans, nuts etc.)

5th Grade:  Healthy Snacks (granola bars, cereal bars, applesauce, etc.)

We believe the food within these three categories have a high impact on nutritional needs, a family's food budget and is easy to prepare/eat.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact Jen Jensco (FCC Coordinator) at frcres@mcps.k12.mt.us

Thank you so much for your generosity!
