Our district is using a comprehensive math program called iReady. This is an intensive math curriculum, rich with many opportunities for your child to become engaged in problem-solving, computation, and ways to analyze their math work. Each unit provides your child with enriching and fun ways to practice math.“Math Talk” or discourse, is another component of this program. Children will individually work on solving problems and then present to the class how they organized their work. They will interpret for their classmates the strategies they used to complete the problem.
